The task had focus on research for user and user needs. The customer was a family of five who was a very busy family and they wanted help from an interior designer to complete the master bedroom in their new house. The parents wanted a place where they could retreat and be alone. Our task was to find a concept that suited the customer’s needs and interests. This task was a group assignment

Our concept was “A journey of tranquillity”. The parents met when they were volunteering in Africa, and they go on a family trip to Africa every year. Therefore we chose a concept that gave the feeling of space, rest, warm sense and African colours. With an innovative way in use of floorboards as an end wall at the bed.
